On week 24 we continue talking about how teens (teenagers) can change the world. Your learning purpose of this week is to create a graphic organizer about causes and effects of some issues that affect the world or your community. So you will watch two videos to help you have some ideas.

Dear young students,
Your challenge for this week 23 is to complete an organizer (fishbone) with causes and effects of some global issues from an article you are going to read about how teenagers are changing the world.
In order to have more information about the theme, you will watch a video and answer two questions



1. What global issues are mentioned in the video?
2. Would you like to be "a campaigner (activist), an inventor or an innovator"? Why?

For this week 21 you are going to do reading and listening  activities to develop the competence Read varied types of texts in English as a foreign language.

To complete this task, you will watch a video about two reading strategies you need to practise more to have a better understanding of your text.


After watching the video, answer the question:

Do you use the reading strategies "skimming and scanning" when you have a reading comprehension activity? Why?

WELCOME TO THE "REFLECTION WEEK"


This week purpose is to reflect about your own learning, by checking your works on your portfolio, in order to know your achievements, difficulties and opportunities for improvement.  

(El propósito de esta semana es reflexionar sobre tu propio proceso de aprendizaje, a través de la revisión de los productos de tu portafolio, con la finalidad de conocer tus avances, dificultades y oportunidades de mejora).



Como es una semana especial, vamos a realizar esta reflexión en español. Para ello debes ser sincero y responder las preguntas de acuerdo a lo siguiente:

WEEK 11 😊 WRITING TIME

This week you're going to develop your writing competence 📝.       If you are PreA1 or A1 student, you will write a description of your favorite character from the story "My hero is you". Watch the video to help you with your description.


If you are A2 or A2+ student, you will write a dialogue between you and one of the characters of the story. Watch the video to help you use the correct punctuation in your dialogue.


For that reason, you are going to join into your Classroom, check the materials and do the activities given.
